Meet our Paralympian
Congratulations are in order to our senior therapist, Jeremy MccClure for qualifying for the Rio Paralympic Games 2016. Jeremy has been training hard in his spare time to training in preparation for his big race today. Jeremy needed to swim a time of 1:11:15min and he smashed it in 1:10:48 for his 100m backstroke. This has put him 4th place in the World! Such a massive achievement, well done again Jeremy.


Georgina Hope Foundation National Swimming Championships
While many of us enjoyed a break from the clinic over Easter, one of our senior therapists & pilates instructors, Vickie Furk, was up bright and early Saturday morning to travel with UWA West Coast National Age Team to compete at the Georgina Hope Foundation Age National Swimming Championships in Adelaide. Adductors Foam Roller
Adductor Foam Roller Begin with the leg wishing to be 'rolled' flexed at the hip and knee resting on the foam roller. You may wish to tuck your foot of this leg behind the roller, and hold the top of the roller with the same side hand to insure the roller doesn't roll away from you. The none rolling leg, is extended along the flow, and the elbow of that side is flexed to support some of the body weight. Roll from the inside knee all the way to near the groin.
