Possible Paralympian for Rio 2016

When the Aussies head off next year to the Rio Olympic Games, we at the Subiaco Sports Massage Clinic hope to be cheering on one of our own staffers - Jeremy McClure. Jez is one of our senior therapists and when he's not sorting out soft-tissue problems for his clients, he is smashing out the kilometres at his local pool. But Jez (he) is no ordinary elite swimmer. He has a severe visual impairment, and uses his trusty guide dog pal Presley to get around. In the pool it is a different story. Jez relies on audio cues to follow the black line at the bottom of the pool. Competing among a small group in his category, his chance of winning a medal at the Paralympics are looking pretty good. Jez's trials are only a few months away and if he qualifies he will be representing the Australian Swim Team at the Olympics for the third time. Not bad. We will keep you posted on his progress. In the meantime, from all his fans here at Subi Sports, we wish him the very best of luck in the hard months ahead.
