Effective Techniques & Benefits of Cupping in Remedial Massage
Our senior therapist Jaye Thomas held a Cupping workshop for remedial massage therapists teaching cupping therapy. Cupping is an ancient healing method that is used to ease pain by increasing blood flow to the area activating natural healing to affected areas. Cupping is an excellent service that has benefits which include; reducing pain and inflammation, decreasing muscle tightness, improving blood flow, and increasing range of motion. It can be an effective method for those who are wanting to increase their range of movement and reduce their inflamed muscles.

The training workshop ran for 3 hours and covered everything to know about cupping including aims, indications for use, application and much more. Jaye has been working in our clinic for over 20 years and we are so lucky to have her provide out therapists with her in depth knowledge of cupping and massage. We now have ever more therapists who are able to provide cupping therapy during treatments with no additional cost!

Therapists who offer cupping will have the service listed under their additional services offered tab, alternatively if you are interested in trying cupping in your next appointment please do not hesitate to contact our friendly reception team who can book you in with a therapist who offers cupping therapy.
